Podcast Production Stages

As you already know, our podcast production process operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. The speed at which we move through the queue depends on various factors, including the initial audio quality and length of your content. Below, you'll find an overview of the three main stages of production:

1. Rough Edit

During this initial stage, we focus on cleaning up the audio. Our tasks include removing background noise, eliminating filler words (such as "uhms" and "you knows"), managing breathing sounds, and eliminating any other distracting noises. This stage can be the most time-consuming as we strive to deliver high-quality audio. Typically, it takes approximately 15 to 45 minutes per every 5 minutes of content in the rough editing phase. Therefore, keeping your content concise and minimizing background noise can significantly expedite the process.

2. Final Edit

Once the rough edit is complete, we transition to the final edit. Here, we take the edited audio from the previous stage and work on fine-tuning it. This involves mastering the audio, ensuring consistent volume levels, and incorporating background music where appropriate. The time spent at this stage directly correlates with the length of your content. We meticulously review and listen to the audio multiple times to guarantee the best possible quality. Therefore, if you provide a one-hour audio file that's been edited down to 50 minutes, expect a more extended duration for this stage due to the additional listening and refinement required.

3. Almost Done

In this final phase of production:

• We create cover art for your podcast episode.
• Design YouTube thumbnails.
• Develop social media stories and reels to promote your episode.
• We listen to the episode one last time to review transcriptions for accuracy.
• The episode is uploaded to our hosting platform (RSS).
• We perform edits for the YouTube video, create social media posts, and generate short clips.
• The content is shared on various social media platforms.
• We notify you once your episode is complete, providing you with essential statistics for your podcast.

By breaking down the production process into these stages, we aim to ensure that every podcast episode receives the attention it deserves, resulting in high-quality, engaging content.
